Black History Month 2022 at CSUN
Please join us as CSUN celebrates the achievements of African Americans and recognizes their central role in U.S. history.
The national theme for 2022 is Black Health and Wellness and acknowledges the legacy of not only Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine, but also other ways in which the Black community have contributed to healthcare (e.g., birth workers, doulas, midwives, naturopaths, herbalists, etc.) throughout the African Diaspora. The 2022 theme considers activities, rituals and initiatives that Black communities have practiced in an effort to maintain health and wellbeing. (ASALH, 2022).
