Ready to Enroll or Make Changes to Your Benefits?
You will make changes to your benefit elections in the CSUN Portal, via the "Enroll In Benefits" Link in the HR (Human Resources) / Benefits employee navigation. Remember to access the portal on or after September 18th but before close of business on October 13th to change your benefit elections. For optimal viewing, access the portal using Chrome or Firefox.
Full details on health plans options are available at https://www.calpers.ca.gov/. By viewing your CalPERS Health Plan Statement available through your personalized my|CalPERS account, you can view your current plan, and any specific health benefit changes that may affect you in the upcoming year. If you do not have an account, you can create one by going to the my|CalPERS Log In page, and selecting Register Now.
Happy with Your Current Plan and Coverage? Not Making any Changes?
If you don't want to make any changes to your current benefits, you don't need to do anything. Your current elections for these plans will automatically continue for plan year 2024.
However, if you want a Health Care or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, you must re-enroll every year.
As a reminder, Effective January 1, 2024 voluntary legal insurance benefits will now be provided by ARAG. ARAG legal plan coverage can only be enrolled in during Open Enrollment.
We're here to assist you with any questions about your benefit options and to helping you find the benefits that will best meet your needs in 2024!
