The Open Enrollment period for Benefits Eligible Employees will take place from Monday, September 20, 2021 through Friday, October 15, 2021.
During the Open Enrollment period, employees may enroll-in, change or cancel Health, Dental, Vision, FlexCash, Dependent Care Account (DCRA), Health Care Reimbursement (HCRA) or Voluntary Benefit Plans.
Any changes made during the Open Enrollment period will be effective January 1, 2022.
Visit the CSYou website to register and for more information on this year's benefits, access the employee users guide, and our regional campus virtual Benefit Fairs. Once you register, you will receive a link to access the virtual Open Enrollment platform on Monday, September 20. You may visit the site at any time during Open Enrollment, and it will also host your virtual regional campus Benefit Fairs.
Register for the Open Enrollment Virtual Platform And Attend Our Regional Campus Virtual Benefits Fair
In addition to the benefits information for Open Enrollment on CSYou this year once again a virtual platform will be available for our employees – providing additional access to benefits information.
This virtual platform will also host your campus LIVE Benefits Fair, which is scheduled for:
Wednesday, September 29 | 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 30 | 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and
Friday, October 1, | 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
You may attend any or all of them. At the LIVE event, you’ll be able to video or text chat with providers and your campus HR team, and could even win prizes!

Ready to Enroll or Make Changes to Your Benefits?
You will make changes to your benefit elections in the myNorthridge portal, via the "Enroll In My Benefits" Link in the Human Resources / Employee pagelet on the Staff tab. Remember to access the portal on or after September 20th but before close of business on October 15th to change your benefit elections. For optimal viewing, access the portal using Chrome or Firefox.
Full details on health plans options are available at https://www.calpers.ca.gov/. By viewing your CalPERS Health Plan Statement available through your personalized my|CalPERS account, you can view your current plan, and any specific health benefit changes that may affect you in the upcoming year. If you do not have an account, you can create one by going to the my|CalPERS Log In page, and selecting Register Now.
Happy with Your Current Plan and Coverage? Not Making any Changes?
If you don't want to make any changes to your current benefits, you don't need to do anything. Your current elections for these plans will automatically continue for plan year 2022.
However, if you want a Health Care or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, you must re-enroll every year.
