CSUN Zest Fest

In collaboration with the CSUN Institute of Sustainability and Food Forward, the CSUN Alumni Association invites you to the 15th annual CSUN Orange Pick, this year with the celebratory title: Zest Fest!

Join us at this family-friendly event and celebrate 15 years of supporting Food Forward's mission to harvest fruit for communities experiencing food insecurity.

Date: June 1

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Location: CSUN Orange Grove

You can sign up for picking fruit and composting scraps around the Grove by signing up for a shift. Or you can simply stop by to learn more about the CSUN Institute of Sustainability and Food Forward, and spend a day with your CSUN family!

Whether you choose to volunteer for the orange pick or simply attend with friends and family, this picnic-style celebration will have fun activities for everyone to enjoy! Register today to reserve your tools and help your CSUN community fight hunger and reduce food waste. Tools will be provided by Food Forward.

Additional details, including parking and transportation options as well as a list of recommended items to bring with you, will be emailed to registered attendees.
