Dobson, a former baseball player at McNeese, will be one of four USA assistants working under head coach Ken Eriksen. Laura Berg (Oregon State), Tairia Flowers (Cal-State Northridge) and Heather Tarr (Washington) will join Dobson on the staff. -- Beaumont Enterprise

Four New Administrators Approved by Hart District Governing Board

Genevieve Peterson Henry becomes the principal of Saugus High School after spending the last four years as an assistant principal there. She began teaching English at Verdugo Hills High School in 1993 before making the move to Golden Valley High School in 2008 where she also became the English Language development Coordinator. In 2014, Ms. Peterson Henry was brought to the District Office as an English Language Learner Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) before accepting the assistant principal position at Saugus in 2017. She has both her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Cal State Northridge. -- SCV News

Maia Sharp

Maia became proficient on a number of instruments, including keyboards, guitar, oboe, and saxophone, and later studied music theory at California State University at Northridge, where she began to explore her love of songwriting. In 1992 her father invited Maia to play horns and keyboards on That's Another Story, an album he cut in collaboration with Karen Brooks, and by 1993 Sharp began performing her own music in Los Angeles clubs. -- WMKY

Edniesha Curry to Join Blazers’ Coaching Staff

Curry started her college playing career at Cal State Northridge. She finished her college career with the Ducks. From college, Curry was drafted in the third round of the 2002 WNBA Draft. As a professional, Curry played both in the WNBA and overseas. -- Blazers Edge
