UC Irvine, Long Beach State take aim at Big West women’s tournament title

The 10-team tournament begins with a pair of first-round games on Tuesday in Henderson, Nevada. Eighth-seeded Cal State Northridge (9-18, 5-12) faces ninth-seeded Cal State Bakersfield (4-19, 3-11) and No. 7 Cal State Fullerton (10-17, 5-12) meets No. 10 Cal Poly (3-21, 2-13). The quarterfinals are Wednesday, with the semifinals on Friday afternoon and the championship game on Saturday at 5 p.m. -- Los Angeles Daily News

Danny Bibi is the Featured Guest on a New Podcast Episode

A long-time entrepreneur, Danny started his first company, an internet domain aggregator called Global Net 2000 Domain Holdings, with a partner in 1993. Here, he managed a team of 12 designers and developed an algorithm for domain registration and monetization. Danny attended UCLA from 1994 - 1996, completing a certificate program in general business studies with a concentration in real estate. Following that, he enrolled in California State University-Northridge from 1996 - 2000, where he studied business law and management, information systems, and international business, ultimately earning a bachelor's degree in business administration. While still attending classes at California State, Danny Bibi founded AdMedia in 1998. The company now boasts around 150 wholly owned and operated websites within its internal network, as well as being responsible for the creation of more than 40 highly-effective web traffic products, including contextual.com and intextual.com. -- Mammoth Times

Phonexa CFO Mara Garcia Joins Forbes Finance Council

Garcia received her B.S. from California State University, Northridge, and received her CPA license from the California Board of Accountancy. She obtained a Cybersecurity Advisory Services Certificate from the American Institute of CPAs.
