Bob Suzuki, 88; Former Cal Poly President

Prior to coming to Cal Poly Pomona, Suzuki served as the dean of graduate studies and research at Cal State L.A. from 1981 to 1985 and vice president for academic affairs at CSU Northridge from 1985 to 1991. The Petersen’s New ‘Best In Low’ Exhibit Celebrates Lowrider Culture

Opening night for Best in Low also drew a celebratory car meet on the roof of the Petersen’s garage, where everything from a Honda Acty to a Dodge Li’l Red Express, even a couple of Harley-Davidson motorcycles pulled up in classic lowrider fashion.
