L.A. Times' high school football coach of the year: Jeff Kearin

A former head coach at Cal State Northridge, as well as Los Angeles Loyola and St. Monica high schools, Kearin was teaching at Encino Crespi High and planning to coach his daughter's field hockey team when Taft called on him. He put together a staff, learned quickly about the way things are done at a City Section school and persuaded his players to buy in.

CSUN to Offer Accelerated Program to Aspiring History Teachers

CMTC Releases Season 4 of Modern Manufacturing Podcast “Shifting Gears”

Last season, Shifting Gears explored advanced manufacturing technologies – including robotics, automation, and additive – and concluded with a special episode in celebration of Manufacturing Day 2021. This season deep-dives into ransomware and recovery, supply chain resiliency, and budgeting and strategic planning. Shifting Gears’ host, CMTC Director of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies Gregg Profozich, is joined by subject matter experts to explore each of these three topics.
