Long Beach State Dirtbags return to Blair Field this weekend

LBSU returns to Blair Field this weekend to finish the regular season home schedule against Hawaii. The Dirtbags lead second-place Cal State Fullerton by three games, and finish the season next weekend in Fullerton, so the magic number for at least a share of the Big West title is three. The Titans are at Cal State Northridge this weekend. Hawaii (26-19, 8-10) is in fifth place behind CSUN. Hawaii is 5-4 on the road, and LBSU is 16-4 at home. The first game is 6 p.m. on Friday, and they play again at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The finale is 1 p.m. on Sunday. -- Long Beach Press-Telegram
