UVU soccer: Utah Valley women continue road play at Tulsa, Oral Roberts

Utah Valley returns to the pitch after dropping a pair of overtime road matches last week. The Wolverines dropped a 2-1 double-overtime decision at UNLV before falling 2-1 in overtime at Cal State Northridge. All three of UVU's losses this season have come in overtime periods. -- Deseret News - UT

Bobby Ray Parks has decided he’ll play one more season with Alab Pilipinas in the Asean Basketball League, Kobe Paras is in the process of redshirting in his transfer to Cal State Northridge while Christian Standhardinger has reportedly signed with the Hong Kong team in the ABL. -- Philippine Star

Dixie State names Matt Wilson as new assistant baseball coach

Wilson has also coached collegiately at Pierce College, Cal State Northridge, San Joaquin Delta College and at his alma mater, Sacramento State. Wilson was a four-year starting catcher at Sacramento State from 2002-05, where as a senior he led the team in home runs and was second in RBIs, while defensively he caught 23 runners attempting to steal. He left school in the top 10 for career at-bats and hit by pitches. Sacramento State elected Wilson to its All-Decade Team (2000-10) for his work with the program. -- Deseret News - UT
