Graduate Studies
The Office of Graduate Studies is delighted that you are considering a graduate program at CSUN. Our office is dedicated to helping prospective and current graduate students while they navigate graduate school. With over 70 graduate programs and a graduate enrollment of less than 4,000, CSUN Graduate Studies offers the personal attention and faculty expertise you need to take your career from where you are to where you want to go.
CSUN offers outstanding graduate programs that give students the opportunity to work one on one with world-class faculty while simultaneously benefitting from all of the services that a large university campus can provide.
Because CSUN’s graduate programs focus on real world issues, you will graduate ready to apply what you've learned in your future workplace. Whether studying water availability in geography, fluid mechanics in mechanical engineering or a completely different topic, as a graduate student at CSUN you develop the knowledge and tools needed to solve local and global problems.
In addition to degree program offerings, CSUN offers a combination of different state and self-support certificate programs. These academic-credit-based certificate programs, available to post-baccalaureate students, are designed to provide integrated and focused study in selected areas.
