Project Rebound Meridian is a data management solution for Project Rebound, a program that seeks to provide resources and opportunities to formerly incarcerated individuals. With the help of Project Rebound, these individuals are empowered to complete higher education, successfully reintegrate into their communities, and mentor others who wish to improve themselves and break the cycle of re-incarceration. Project Rebound was using an antiquated and disjointed data management system using physical hard drives and multiple platforms. Due to delays in processing student requests and a operation disruptions, there was an urgent need to implement a unified and user-friendly data management system that is tailored to the unique needs of Project Rebound. This system provides an intuitive web interface which enables streamlined access to data, a controller which manages the permissions, and a database supported by Amazon Web Services.
