Policy on Missed Quizzes and Exams
There will be no make-ups for missed quizzes. Except under extreme circumstances, make-up exams will be given only if you have asked for and received my approval before the announced exam date. If you miss an exam without prior approval, because of verifiable circumstances beyond your control, you must notify me (either directly or through the Department Office) before the next class meeting following the missed deadline. (The Department phone number is 677-2757.) I am under no obligation to accept any work that is more than one week late.
Policy on Academic Honesty
I will strictly enforce the University’s policies on academic honesty. Detected cheating on any quiz or exam will result in a grade of zero on the work involved and usually a grade of F in the course.
