Off-Campus Specialized and Interdisciplinary Training

Each year, up to 6 faculty members can request up to $2200 to participate in training off-campus. This training is intended to improve the faculty member’s ability to conduct research in health disparities. While conferences may not be paid for by this grant, pre-conference specialized events may be funded in some circumstances. Off-campus training grants are to meet with a group, typically not an individual, who is providing organized training. If you are interested in meeting with an individual, please make an application for a Mentor Request. If there are requests smaller than $2200, we can add smaller off-campus training opportunities to the mix.
