-THE FINAL EXAMINATION:

Bring a blue book. Do NOT bring Powell. Bring pens; the use of pencils is not acceptable. Exam booklets are not returned to the student. Do not telephone the professor or the Foreign Language Department for final grades. It is illegal to give out information about student grades to anyone without legal authorizatiuon in writing from the student; this is obviously impossible on the telephone. I know that some professors do this, but unless they can identify you by your voice, it is illegal.
