This page provides confirmation of
the date and time you have chosen to work on the PC Assembly Project.
Scheduling:
You may request any date and time
that is open on the schedule(s) as indicated below. There is sufficient equipment that up to
three students can work on the project at any particular time. The time available is broken down into
two-hour slots. It is expected that
students will be able to complete the project in that timeframe. The shaded areas of the schedule are
unavailable, either because a class is meeting in the lab or your instructor
will not be able to respond promptly to a student’s completion of the project
to score it in a timely manner. In
selecting a date/time to do the project, keep in mind that you have an
examination on the evening of Wednesday, April 3.
Reserving a Slot:
To schedule a date and time to work
on your project you need to send an email message to your instructor with the
subject heading of “IS335: PC Assembly Project Schedule”. Slots will be awarded on a first-come,
first-served basis. The time-stamp on
your email message will be used to determine the order in which messages are
received.
Working on the Project:
You are on your own to go to the Fuld Information Systems Computer Lab (JH2212) to work on
the project at the scheduled time. You
will need to begin working at the time you have selected and notify your
instructor as soon as you have completed assembly of your PC so that he can
score your computer and disassemble it to make it ready for the next
student.

The project is to be completed individually.
