CSUN Professor Luciana Lagana has created a documentary film featuring interviews with the Executive Director of the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission, and with individuals from different walks of life who used to be homeless. The film is part of a research study exploring how to enhance attitudes of CSUN students towards people who are homeless. Professor Lagana will show excerpts from the film and discuss the preliminary findings from her research. Sponsored by Valley Nonprofit Resources and co-sponsored by Valley Care Community Consortium, the presentation is free of charge and complimentary lunch will be provided. This event had to be re-scheduled because of the local wildfires in December.
