FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Northridge- The University Student Union (USU) invites all students, faculty and staff to experience Carnaval – Virtual, our celebration of the world’s diversity and CSUN’s dynamic multicultural community. From Monday, April 5 to Friday, April 9, join in all its fun and exciting activities on Instagram! Come discover the music, dancing, food, art and even more from special and vibrant cultures. With live performances, dance tutorials and tasty international food recommendations, you don’t want to miss this unique opportunity to celebrate the beauty and richness that each culture brings to our planet, the city of Los Angeles and the CSUN campus.

“The University Student Union is more than excited to bring back one of our most popular events in a special virtual celebration,” said Aristides Garcia, USU Students Programs Assistant. “Our goal for this year’s festive and inclusive Carnaval is to recognize the culture and beauty of the many walks of life throughout our Matador community.”

The wide-ranging program will also include a docu-series each day hosted by @ obieats on Instagram featuring the best international food spots in LA for you to grab a bite of many different cultural cuisines. Later in the week, tune in as the USU showcases talented international performers dancing on IG live, dance-tutorials and much more! In addition, the first 50 CSUN students who sign-up will receive a fun Carnaval box. This is a special time to learn about your fellow Matadors as we celebrate and acknowledge all of the amazing attributes these communities bring to our campus every day!
