WHAT: The USU Events Department of the University Student Union (USU) invites all Matadors to get their vibe on and add their favorite tunes to the “Music Mondays” playlist on Spotify. To encourage community and connection, the USU will publish a different genre-based playlist every Monday where students can add their favorite songs and check out their friends’ music choices. Whether it’s 80s music, Indie rock, Hip Hop, or even Folk music, now is the chance to show off that fire playlist!
WHO: Aristides Garcia, Student Events Assistant, is responsible for coordinating this program.

WHY: This is an opportunity for students to build community with the power of music during this time of social distancing and online learning.
BACKGROUND: The USU is here to help build campus community while inviting CSUN students to exchange their favorite songs on “Music Mondays”. The playlist will be set in collaborative mode so students can add their music. Please make sure all songs are appropriate and non-offensive.
