Greetings!

The winter break and the New Year are nearly here, and as chair of the Road Map Steering Committee, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how excited we are about the collective work we are doing to build consensus around CSUN’s priorities and strategic directions, with our guiding vision of an equitable and just future for our community and world.

In the past few months, the Road Map Steering Committee has been planning and designing an inclusive process for engaging the campus community in this important work. We have established a three-phase process for the Road Map – Design, Engage and Synthesize. The three town halls we held last week were part of the Design phase. We invited comments and suggestions for making the process more inclusive, and so many have already provided helpful feedback; thanks to all who participated. We look forward to the next semester and entering the Engage phase. Information about the opportunities to share your input about strategic directions for CSUN will be available to you early next year.

We hope you will join us on this journey and share your good ideas in one or more of the many forums, town halls or surveys being planned to help chart CSUN’s Road Map to the Future. You can even share your good ideas now, through our form. As information is added regularly, we encourage you to bookmark the website to stay current on our progress and for important updates.
