CA Clean Air Day Resource Fair

Clean Air Day is a chance for Los Angeles to take bold steps toward improving public health and tackling its air quality issues. In a city where car culture dominates and traffic is a daily reality, transportation plays a huge role in pollution.

By coming together as a community, we can shift towards more sustainable options that improve the air we breathe. Public transit, biking, and walking aren’t just better for the environment—they’re critical for protecting the health of Angelenos, especially in neighborhoods most affected by poor air quality. Clean Air Day is a reminder that we can make a difference by advocating for better public transportation and healthier, more livable streets.

These are some ways you can participate in Clean Air Day 2024

1. Take the pledge. You can change your home air filter, plant a tree, reduce car idling, walk to work, or many other actions that collectively improve air quality. 
2. Attend CSUN’s Clean Air Day event on Tuesday, October 1st, 11am-1pm in Matador Square. Meet with local vendors such as Metro and Chargie to learn about public transportation and electric vehicles.
3. Share your Clean Air Day efforts on social media, tag @CleanAirDay and #CleanAirDay to help build momentum for a healthier, cleaner community. Let’s work together to create a city where everyone can breathe easier.
