The challenge is open to all SRC members with an active membership. Any non-SRC member participating in the challenge must purchase a Guest Pass for each day of attendance into the facility and also be present with an SRC member at the time of entry. Non-student employees of the Student Recreation Center (SRC) may participate, but are not eligible to win any available grand prizes.
All competitors must agree and understand the following rules and regulations of this event before being cleared to compete. Safety is the number one concern in this event. If a competitor fails to abide by these rules, it may lead to forfeiture of their eligibility in the challenge.
- All competitors must be registered for the challenge prior to completing their first attempt.
- All competitors must wear athletic clothing and athletic closed toed shoes.
- No chains or dangling material of any kind.
- No flip-flops, crocs, sandals, etc.
- No jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, dangling earrings, etc. Small stud earrings are okay.)
- Only general athletic tape or the provided liquid chalk will be allowed in order to assist competitors. Other products such as powdered chalk, gloves and sticky finger products will NOT be allowed.
- Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated. This competition is designed for fun and to challenge competitors. If a competitor is not abiding by the rules set forth, we reserve the right to remove them from the competition.
- Competitors will be scored on the number of times the circuit is completed in full. Competitors must complete the set numbers of repetitions/distance for each station in order for a circuit to be counted, no exceptions. There are a total of six stations in the circuit.
- 300 Meter Row
- 30 Battle Rope Double Arm wipes
- 3 180 Degree Flip-Plyo (Tire Flip + Hop Over = 1)
- 3 Sandbag Reverse Lunges (R + L = 1)
- 3 Sled-pushes (Out + Back = 1)
- 3 Sandbag Bear Drags (R + L = 1)
- Competitors must complete the circuit in the assigned order and are not permitted to skip a station to maximize their time. If they do skip any station of the course, their attempt will not count. This will be heavily monitored by the judges inside the competition.
- Competitors must listen to the directives of the lead staff member during their attempt, at all times.
- Competitors will be given an alternative option to modify certain stations if the competitor cannot perform the said action. However, implementing that modification may incur an undefined time penalty applied. Available alternatives and respective time penalties will be defined prior to the start of each attempt.
- The total amount of weight/load for the following stations will be determined by the competitor’s bodyweight and bracket standing:

- Competitors may take up to a 30-second break in-between each station, if they choose to do so; however the time will not stop. If the competitor pauses between stations, the lead staff person will announce aloud and a separate timer will monitor the break time. Competitors will receive a countdown at the halfway mark. If the competitor does not resume activity before the 30 seconds is up, their time will stop and the attempt will end. Only the number of circuits completed in full will be counted towards the a competitor’s final score.
- After each attempt of the circuit, the scorekeeper will apply any penalties incurred to their final time. At that point the scorekeeper and competitor will be required to initial next to the final score to validate it. In the event both initials are not received, the score will not be counted in the challenge. No exceptions.
- Competitors may attempt the course as many times as they would like, on a first-come, first-served basis. Competitors will not be authorized to perform sequential attempts if other competitors are waiting to compete. They will need to wait their turn.
- Competitors will be ranked based on the total number of rounds of the circuit completed in full, followed by the final time to complete the course, including any penalties.
