Bring Your Best Shot to the SRC’s “Hoops Skills Competition” And Stay to Watch the Action-Packed “Intramural All-Star Basketball Game”

WHAT:

The Student Recreation Center (SRC) of the University Student Union invites all CSUN students, faculty and staff to ball it up at the second annual “Intramural All-Star Basketball Game and Events”. This awesome night will start by giving every Matador who signs up the opportunity to show what they’ve got in a “Hoops Skills Competition”. Then, to top it off, the outstanding players from this semester’s intramural basketball season will play head to head in the exciting men’s “All-Star Game”.

WHO:

Devin Barnett, SRC Intramurals Coordinator, is responsible for this event.

WHEN:

Registration is open now until Wednesday, April 18.

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE:

Located in the SRC Red Ring Courts at the University Student Union

WHY:

Give CSUN students, faculty and staff the chance to participate in a fun and interactive basketball event.

BACKGROUND:

The “Hoops Skills Competition” consists of three contests: free throw, three-point and the dunk challenge. The winner of each contest will receive a free t-shirt and fun Intramural Sports socks. The winners of the “Intramural All-Star Basketball Game” will be awarded with brand new all-star championship t-shirts. To participate in the skills competition, sign up online now through IMLeagues or in person on the day of the event. To be selected for the all-star game, players must have participated in the SRC’s men’s intramural basketball league through either the “A”, “B” or fraternity divisions.
