February 17, 2015

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Northridge — The Student Recreation Center at the University Student Union invites everyone in the CSUN community to “Go Red for Women” and ride for a great cause on Saturday, Feb. 28. In support of the American Heart Association, all participants will help raise both funds and awareness of heart disease in women.

“We are extremely excited to be hosting this fun and engaging event for such an important cause and a great organization,” said SRC fitness coordinator, Amanda Christianson “What’s really unique about this fundraiser is that ‘Go Red for Women’ will receive 100% of all donations.”

To reserve a bike, $5 will be due at registration and go towards your minimum Spinning® Nation donation total. Each rider must raise an additional $95 through sponsorship from family and friends or can personally fund the amount for a grand total of $100 raised per rider. This even is open to SRC members and non- members, so bring your friends and family for a good time and a good cause.

Classes are limited to 30 seats per class, so sign up soon. Participants can choose between four 55-minute cycling classes at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.
