“Zumbathon” at the SRC Brings Matadors Together to Dance for a Cause

Northridge - The University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students, faculty and staff to get physical and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by participating in the annual  “Zumbathon” event in the Student Recreation Center. On Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. on the Red Ring Courts, bust out your dancing shoes and work up a sweat doing fun and high-energy Zumba dance exercises to make a meaningful contribution towards the cure for breast cancer. All proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the country’s leading breast cancer awareness organization.

 “The non-stop fun of ‘Zumbathon’ is the perfect way to not only support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but also to get a good workout and have a great time with your friends,” said USU Events Supervisor, Randy Sorensen. “Whether you are very experienced with zumba or a beginner, this event will be fun for everyone and make an impact you can be proud of!”

Tickets for “Zumbathon” will be available for $10 and can be purchased at the A.S. Ticket Office in the USU or online at Ticketmaster.com (additional Ticketmaster services and processing fees may apply).
