Eva-Malhotra's piece: Untitled-III

Bang Bang!: the Works of Eva Malhotra

Bang Bang! alludes to the beginning of time; a violent creation that emerged from dividing atoms and the inception of astral beings, constellations, universes and planets, as well as its inhabitants. Each one created out of the primal matter: cosmic dust, as named by poet Ernesto Cardenal in his Cosmic Song. Eva Malhotra was born in Mexico. Her creative path started with her fascination of conceptual art. Currently, her work explores the boundaries and barriers that divide and distance humans inter se, as well as between humanity and the rest of creation. Her artistic expression is an attempt to dismantle the separation and to unveil the arbitrary barriers that not only segregate us but also result in violence and devastation.
