Three students from College of Science and Mathematics participated in the CSU 31st Annual Student Research Statewide competition held at CSU, San Luis Obispo April 28th-29th. Two of these students won top placements in their sessions!
- 1st Place: Julia Dandurand, Mathematics graduate student, presented: On Book Crossing Numbers of the Complete Graph (Advisor Silvia Fernandez)
- 2nd Place: Sa La Kim, Biology undergraduate, presented: 1TGA1 is a Novel Biomarker and Therapeutic Target for Blocking Stemness in pancreatic Cancer (Jonathan Kelber)
- Areli Castrejon, Physics undergraduate student, presented: The Photoelectric Instability in Debris Disks: Planets or Just Gas?
