Faculty Collective-Merav Efrat
Dr. Merav Efrat is an Assistant Professor in the Health Sciences Department at Cal State University, Northridge. Her research focuses on investigating the efficacy of childhood obesity prevention interventions designed to promote breastfeeding and children's physical activity. She is currently implementing a study that evaluates the efficacy of phone-based breastfeeding education and support on low-income Latinas’ breastfeeding rates. Students working in her lab implement the phone intervention, as well as collect, input, and validate data.
