Jodi Brown

Jodi Constantine Brown is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and RIMI Tiered Mentor Associate.  Dr. Brown’s teaching and research interests include mental health, organizations, program evaluation, capacity for and access to health services, and health outcomes.  Her most recent publication, Yoga for Vulnerable Adults with Cancer, explores differences in the quality of life between low-income cancer patients participating in a yoga class and those who choose not to participate.  Dr. Brown’s recent research examines health disparities by comparing the capacity of community health care clinics to census tract data using geographic maps.  Her students work on a variety of projects; two students are currently conducting a needs assessment for a local food pantry.
