Faculty Collective-Ellie Kazemi

Ellie KazemiEllie Kazemi is an Associate Professor of Psychology and the Academic Director of the Behavioral Clinical Psychology program at California State University, Northridge. Dr. Kazemi’s research interests involve methodological and conceptual issues in applied behavior analysis. Currently, she conducts translational research and uses humanoid robots as simulated children to investigate variables that lead to improvements in education, training, and supervision of parents, teachers, and staff who implement behavior plans.  Students who participate in this research lab will conduct literature searches, recruit participants, run experimental conditions, record data based on direct observations of behaviors, and more. Undergraduate students work collaboratively with graduate students of the lab, learn single-subject experimental designs, learn the peer review process by offering and revising work based on feedback, and have co-authorship opportunities.
