LGBTQ+ People of Color Invited to Embrace Their Identity at “QTPOC Conversations” in the Pride Center

WHAT:

The Pride Center at the University Student Union (USU) invites all Queer and/or Trans People of Color at CSUN to attend “QTPOC Conversations”, a dynamic weekly discussion group. All LGBTQ+ people of color are encouraged to empower each other and build community through discussion of relevant topics chosen by the attendees each week.

WHO:

Joseph Cayanan, Pride Center Supervisor, is responsible for putting on this event.

WHEN:

Every Monday evening this semester from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

WHERE:

Pride Center at the USU, 2nd floor of Sol Center

WHY:

Provide Queer and Trans* People of Color at CSUN a safe and supportive environment to discuss a range of compelling topics.

BACKGROUND:

“QTPOC Conversations” brings together individuals at the unique intersection of LGBTQ People of Color through the power of talking with each other. All people who identify as members of the CSUN LGBTQ and POC communities are encouraged to attend this gathering to and create dialogue and discussion on topics that matter to attendees.
