Crafts and Coffee Bring Together the CSUN Community at “LGBTQ Coffee Nights”

What:
The Pride Center at the University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students, staff, faculty and allies of the LGBTQ community to come enjoy friendly conversation over coffee and crafts at “LGBTQ Coffee Nights”. Every Thursday this semester, come over to the Pride Center to enjoy a cup of coffee, craft with new friends and brew up some conversation.

Who:
Joseph Cayanan, Pride Center Supervisor, is responsible for putting on this event.

When:
Thursdays from Jan. 26 to May 11, 5 to 7 p.m.
(No event during Spring Break, Thursday, Mar. 23)

Where:
Pride Center, second floor of the Sol Center at the University Student Union.

Why:
Create a stronger camaraderie and network among the LGBTQ community and its allies on campus.  

Background:
All CSUN students are encouraged to bring their friends and make some new ones as well at “LGBTQ Coffee Nights”. Attendees will not only enjoy free coffee and light snacks, but also fun games and crafts while having great conversations and making new connections among good company. The crafts this semester include lanyards, yarn wrapped mason jars, magnets, Valentine’s Day cards and much more. For more information on the Pride Center, please visit www.csun.edu/pride.
