“QTPOC Conversations” Provides Weekly Platform for Queer and Trans* People of Color

What:
The Pride Center at the University Student Union (USU) invites all queer and trans* people of color to “QTPOC Conversations”, a weekly discussion for queer and trans* people of color. Participants are encouraged to explore topics surrounding LGBTQ and POC identities in a safe environment.

Who:
Joseph Cayanan, Pride Center Supervisor, is responsible for putting on this event.

When:
Wednesdays this semester from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
(No meeting Wednesday, March 22 or Thursday, April. 12)

Where:
Pride Center at the USU, 2nd floor of Sol Center

Why:
Provide queer and trans* people of color at CSUN a safe and supportive environment to discuss topics that involve the unique intersectionality of LGBTQ and POC identities.  

Background:
QTPOC Conversations” is a weekly event happening on Wednesdays this semester. All people who identify as members of the CSUN LGBTQ and POC communities are encouraged to attend this gathering to address issues you face and offer support to each other. Participants will learn more about how to navigate the CSUN campus, bridge communities together and discuss topics most relevant to all attendees.
