Students will learn the concepts of mindfulness and the benefits of practicing mindfulness meditation. Learn and practice various mindfulness meditations including breath awareness, body scan, mindful walking, and mindful eating. Identify ways mindfulness can be integrated in your lifestyle. Learn how to get past personal barriers and powerful ways to manage your anxiety while improving your test performance. Led by Dr. Saimir Thano of University Counseling Services, you will learn how to stop wasting your energy worrying about grades, exams and papers, learn awesome and powerful techniques to manage your test anxiety, and watch your scholastic performance soar. Reiki Therapy
First Session: 55-75 min (Students- $49 Faculty/Staff- $75)
Follow-up Session: 45-60 min. (Students- $29 Faculty/Staff- $45)
Reiki is a Japanese form of stress reduction and healing technique based on the idea that an unseen “life-force energy” flows through us, which the therapist channels through their hands. This hands-on body healing is being offered now.
