On the mound, the SwampDogs backed up a solid six innings from starter Blake Schriever (Cal State Northridge) with excellent work on the back end. Jared Crews (Middle Georgia State) was perfect in the final two frames, retiring six Salamanders in order with five of those outs coming via the strikeout.
