CSUN Symphony Orchestra

Auditions for Fall 2020

Openings for Fall:

  • Strings
  • 2 Flutes
  • 2 Oboes
  • 2 Clarinets
  • 2 Bassoon
  • 2 to 4 Horns

Due to social distancing and campus protocol, we are limited to chamber orchestra repertoire for fall and will not be taking any trumpets, low brass or percussion. We hope to add those instruments in the spring.

VIDEO SUBMISSION: Please submit video link recording by Monday, August 17th.  Results will be e-mailed out before the start of classes. Your video will include 2 orchestra excerpts plus a 2-4 minutes of a solo work of your choice (sontatas and concerti that normally include piano are acceptable and piano is not needed. The required excerpts are listed below. Please follow all instructions carefully.
