About the Summer Institute
CSUN faculty members attending the one-week eLearning Institute during the summer will receive support and training from instructional designers, technologists and members from the Office of Faculty Development. The training will demonstrate tools and strategies for teaching and learning and cover a variety of topics.
Each day, training will alternate between presentations and hands-on working sessions. Common pedagogical themes are covered in a group format, and then breakout sessions will be offered for specific tools and techniques. This seminar-style format works well for creating a collaborative atmosphere where faculty can share their experiences and expertise with each other, and receive customized support for specific individualized needs.
