Monowara Hossain

Public Health

Hello! My name is Monowara Hossain and I am a Public Health major student at CSUN (California State University, Northridge). I was born and raised in California. I graduated from NHHS (North Hollywood High School) in 2015 and enrolled as a new freshman student here in CSUN in the Fall of 2015. I am expecting to graduate in this Fall 2020 semester. Although I haven’t thought of what I want to do/be yet, I did plan on creating a health care center for both mothers and infants in the future.

I want to help young women to understand the importance of women’s health, childbirth, and lactation. It also includes the methods of building positive relationships with their babies before, during, and after giving birth. I am excited to be part of the HERE Center as I am looking forward to what this program has to offer and learning the new techniques/strategies of how we can apply that knowledge and skills in the real world.
