Accomplishments
Scott Andrews presented “Dead Cowboys and Living NDNs: A Visit to the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art” at the annual meeting of the Western Literature Association in Tucson, Arizona, Oct. 3-5, 2024. The presentation applied concepts from Gerald Vizenor’s book Fugitive Poses: Native American Scenes of Absence and Presence to the galleries of the James Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Please join us for a Commemoration Ceremony in Honor of Tracy J. Bachman on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
Tracy Bachman is a former Teaching Associate and editor of the Northridge Review who graduated from the CSUN English MA Creative Writing program in Spring of 2004. Tracy is being honored with a plaque in the LAVC Rainbow Pride Center along with a student scholarship fund that will be started in her name. The event will be held at the LAVC Rainbow Pride Center.
