Join the DREAM Center of the University Student Union to explore spoken word and expression through poetry during Poetically Proud! This workshop will be a fun opportunity to stretch your creative muscles while celebrating some phenomenal poets in the undocumented and immigrant community. In addition to reading poems from famous undocumented and immigrant writers, you’ll also have a chance to try your hand at writing poetry!
Register from March 25 to April 8 and then sign on to Zoom at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 8 with a pencil and paper when the workshop begins! Whether rhymed or unrhymed, end-stopped or enjambed, we can’t wait to explore expression with you through written and spoken word during Poetically Proud from the DREAM Center of the USU… Where Matadors Belong!
