UH Softball Swept On Senior Day By CSUN

HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i softball team (22-25, 6-11 Big West) fell twice to CSUN on Senior Day at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. The Matadors shut out the Rainbow Wahine 3-0 in the first game, then pulled away to win 10-4 in the rubber match and series finale on Saturday afternoon. It was the final home game for five Rainbow Wahine seniors—Danielle Garcielita, Jordian Hicks, Courtney Hiruko, Dana Thomsen and Danielle Garcielita. -- KITV - HI

15th Annual Tribune/Star-News All-Star Classic ready to go at Damien on Friday

The Tribune boys won last year’s event to even the overall series 7-7, and the talent this year is arguably as good as its ever been, highlighted by Pasadena’s UNLV-bound Bryce Hamilton along with his teammate Darius Brown II, on his way to Cal State Northridge, for the Star-News team.
