In the final inning of a senior day win, when Malibu baseball honored possibly its most decorated senior class in school history, they turned to William Tamkin to take the mound. Tulsa names Colorado State’s Annie Young as women’s golf coach

Young, who starred at Oklahoma State from 2001-05 and earned a degree in marketing, began her collegiate coaching career at OSU where she guided her alma mater for three seasons (2008-11). She then spent the 2011-12 season as the head coach at Cal State Northridge, before taking over the Rams program. -- Golf Oklahoma

Jammers Fall To Dragons On Road

The Dragons brought the game even yet again in the bottom of the sixth against Jamestown pitcher Trevor Lloyd (Tusculum) when Hernandez blooped a single to shallow right field and Zach Fritz (LIU-Post) followed with an RBI double to make it 4-4. Lloyd left with runners on second and third and one down for Glens Falls. giving way to Jeremy Hassell (Cal-State Northridge). Ryan greeted Hassell with a two-RBI single to give the Dragons their first lead of the game at 6-4. Glens Falls scored another run on a Jammers’ fielding error to lead 7-4. -- Jamestown Post-Journal

Carl English named interim general manager of St. John's Edge

The Edge went all the way to the NBL Canada Central Division final in their expansion season with Jeff Dunlap as the team’s coach and GM. However, after little if any discussion about a potential contract extension, Dunlap returned to the U.S. collegiate ranks from where he had come, signing on as an assistant coach at NCAA Division 1 Cal State Northridge. -- The Telegram
