This one is called Electric Jam and it was my first attempt at home recording with a little 4 track. It is meant to reflect a free-flowing philosophy of life that is willing to invest itself in a song and then follow it round to greater depths of committment and engagement. Anyways, it gets better as you get into it...in my opinion...
My next attempt with the little 4 track is a little story about how a wild-eyed dreamer/idealist falls in love with a world-class jet-set actress/model. It's called "When the Jets Fly Bye" It has a companion piece about the caution one experiences when the flickering incandescence of an off-again/on-again relationship rekindles its passionate flame but not without reigniting memories of burnt fingers. It is called appropriately "Another Piece of My Heart". The next piece is not really a natural sequence of the first two, but it does celebrate the consumate femme fatale who has gotten in so deep, the only cure is some form of cardiac surgery. It is called "Razor Blades Out of My Heart". The final piece in this suite is a stepping back to survey the whole history of human pursuits of obscure objects of desire and the inevitable insatiability of the human spirit. It is entitled "Spirits in Motion"
