Cash flow template: Use the template (thank you Margaret Lopez!) to reduce the amount of writing necessary in the preparation of cash flow statements. You should use the template as follows: Print it out, then fill in by hand! Remember, you are not to use excel to prepare the cash flow statement! While it is certainly possible to prepare a spreadsheet that will calculate cash flow information mechanically, this is not a good idea at first. You need to prepare the statement manually to make sure that you thoroughly review (and/or learn) all the accrual accounting material that you have forgotten by now!

Find the footnote in which the companies linked below discuss the various issues covered in your text and class. Compare the different methods described and try to relate them to the concepts and principles as described in the conceptual framework and in the text book.
