Courses for the master's in mathematics, options I or II are described here.

TFs will earn $15,000 stipends during their credentialing year and $50,000 over four years in salary supplements during their initial teaching years. TFs will earn their single subject mathematics teaching credentials within one year, so that they are teaching full time by their second year in the program.

SINGLE SUBJECT MATHEMATICS TEACHING CREDENTIAL

The Accelerated Collaborative Teacher Education Program (ACT) is an accelerated, two-semester preliminary credential program and the traditional preliminary single subject math program is self-paced. Both programs lead to a preliminary credential in mathematics for teaching at the middle school and high school levels. TFs MUST complete the preliminary credential within one year and thus the ACT Program is recommended. (Students who opt to do the traditional credential program must take courses during the Spring or Summer 2011 term.)
