CALL FOR A PAPER
We are currently editing a volume of essays on the reception of Joan of Arc in French and English literature. This volume will appear in the C.R.I.N. series of Rodopi at Amsterdam in 1997. For the internal balance of the volume we still want to solicit two papers of appr. 6,000 words. One paper would deal with the twentieth-century English biographers of Joan of Arc (Vita Sackville-West, Marina Warner, a.o.). The other paper would deal with film versions of the life and myth of Joan of Arc (in England and America, and perhaps in France). The deadline for either of these contributions would be .
