[This particular papal tiara, presented as a coronation gift to Paul VI by the Diocese of Milan, was sold by order of Paul VI to benefit the poor of the world.
Its acquisition was arranged by Francis Card. Spellman of New York, who exhibited it in St. Patrick's Cathedral, NYC, for a time. The tiara is now
on permanent display in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington DC.]
