The Donald C. Tillman Water Reclamation Plant is one of four wastewater treatment plants operated by the City of Los Angeles' Bureau of Sanitation.  Together, these plants serve four million people within a 600 square mile area.  The Tillman plant treats waste flows from the San Fernando Valley within the Hyperion Service Area.  The Hyperion Treatment Plant serves the central Los Angeles area, treating excess flows from the San Fernando Valley and processes solids from the Tillman Plant
