Math 1051 Lectures 010 and 040
The course will be the review of high school algebra. Starting from
elementary calculations we will revise the basics of analysis and geometry.
The course is designed for audience with various mathematical background.

1. M. Sullivan, K. Murphy, and M. Sullivan, Algebra Review ,
Prentice Hall, 1996.
2. M. Sullivan, Precalculus , 6th Edition, Prentice Hall, 2002.
Classes schedule:
Lecture 010: MWF 10:10am-11:00am VinH 16.
Lecture 040: MWF 02:30pm-03:20pm AndH 270.
The office hours for the Lectures 010 and 040 will be MF 4:00pm--6:00pm.
Every Monday we will have a help session. The help session is designed to
answer everyone's question in a slow pace. So, it can be very advantageous, especially,
if you do not get the material on lecture. Please, consider the help sessions as
a good source for studying.
The time for the help session will be Monday 4pm. The place will be determined later.
Check the Progress Bars to see what homework numbers are assigned.
The final is scheduled on December 16, 2002. The time will be 01:30pm--04:30pm.
