We are bringing back a wildly popular series led by Doug Kaback (Theatre) that introduces techniques from Dr. Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed. Exercises and activities offer interactive opportunities to enhance classroom rapport, generate student reflection, and stimulate creativity. Applicable to most academic disciplines, this pedagogical framework will help confront issues of power dynamics in a safe, constructive manner; build teaching strategies that support student success; and close the achievement gap by using a more democratic, culturally responsive learning process.
